The brand is notably known as a world-class jeweller, so Cartier thought up the concept of a watch that is both practical and boasts the brand’s exquisite jewellery techniques. It was introduced in 1983 and dubbed as the ‘Panthère de Cartier’, French for ‘panther of Cartier’. The name comes from the ultra-flexible bracelet that mirrored the movements of Cartier’s emblematic animal.
