This iconic bracelet was created in 1969 by Italian jeweller, Aldo Cipullo, and it was in fact his very first design for Cartier. It is oval-shaped, ensuring that it fits as closely as possible to the wearer and must be removed with the assistance of a special screwdriver. The Love bracelet was inspired by the chastity belt with the idea that “love symbols should suggest an everlasting quality.”
